This review provides an integrated framework for achieving superior electrochemical performance in sulfide‐based all‐solid‐state batteries. It first delineates mechano‐electrochemical failure modes of cathode active materials and solid electrolytes, then outlines engineering principles for particle morphology, electronic and ionic conduction, and ...

The influence of crosslink characteristics on key properties of dynamically cured NR/PP blends
Thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs) were prepared by blending natural rubber (NR) and polypropylene (PP) using dynamic sulfur curing systems with varying accelerator/sulfur ratios: 0.5/2.5, 1.5/1.5, and 2.5/0.5 phr, categorized as conventional (CV), semi ...

Cross-Linked Density Determination of Natural Rubber Compounds by Different Analytical Techniques
This paper investigated the formation of crosslinks in natural rubber compounds in the vulcanization systems: conventional (CV), semi-efficient (SEV), and efficient (EV), processed with three types of accelerators: MBTS (dibenzothiazole disulfide), TMTD (

Modeling of kinetics of nonisothermal vulcanization of massive rubber products [PDF]
The problem of vulcanization (curing) of massive products is considered important for technology of processing of polymers. It is shown, that during structurization compound rubber materials distribution of temperatures on all section is unequal, that ...

New Thermoplastic Elastomers by Dynamic Vulcanization
Thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) produced by dynamic vulcanization which is one of the reactive processings are generally called thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV). TPV are polymer alloys composed of themoplastics and elastomers. The growth of demand for TPV is very high, so TPV becomes one of the majority of TPE.

Universality and its Origins at the Amorphous Solidification Transition
Systems undergoing an equilibrium phase transition from a liquid state to an amorphous solid state exhibit certain universal characteristics. Chief among these are the fraction of particles that are randomly localized and the scaling functions that ...

Influence of ZnO and TiO2 particle sizes in the mechanical and dielectric properties of vulcanized rubber [PDF]
The novelty of the present study relies on the straightforward sonication of ZnO and TiO2 and incorporation to a complex formulation of latex, with other several organic-inorganic additives that influences the cross-linking reactions.

Membrane Polymers for the Pervaporative Separation of Polar Organics: Methanol and Acetonitrile
We tested seven polymers as membranes for the pervaporative separation of methanol‐acetonitrile mixtures. Chloroprene rubber, silicone rubber, and Matrimid showed effective separation by favoring acetonitrile transport, enabling azeotrope breaking. Plasticization was assessed using Broadband Dielectric Spectroscopy.
