Current practice in hemodynamic monitoring and management in high-risk surgery patients: a national survey of Korean anesthesiologists [PDF]

open access: yesKorean Journal of Anesthesiology, 2013
BackgroundHemodynamic optimization improves postoperative outcomes in high-risk surgery patients. The monitoring of cardiac output (CO) and dynamic parameters of fluid responsiveness can guide hemodynamic optimization. We conducted a survey to assess the

MMP9High Neutrophils are Critical Mediators of Neutrophil Extracellular Traps Formation and Myocardial Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
During a heart attack, neutrophils rapidly activate and differentiate into a specific subset characterized by high levels of MMP9, a tissue‐damaging enzyme, via the SPI1/CST7 pathway. These neutrophils form harmful net‐like structures (Neutrophil extracellular traps, NETs) that exacerbate heart injury.

Dynamic analysis and validation of a multi-body floating wind turbine using the moving frame method

open access: yesFrontiers in Mechanical Engineering, 2023
This research applies the moving frame method (MFM) to the multi-body dynamic analysis of an OC3 phase IV spar buoy with the NREL 5MW turbine. Further, it verifies previous results obtained through numerical comparisons with commercial software. The long-

Zero-Mode Dynamics of String Webs [PDF]

open access: yesPhys.Rev. D63 (2001) 126002, 2001
At sufficiently low energy the dynamics of a string web is dominated by zero modes involving rigid motion of the internal strings. The dimension of the associated moduli space equals the maximal number of internal faces in the web. The generic web moduli space has boundaries and multiple branches, and for webs with three or more faces the geometry is ...

S‐ketamine Alleviates Neuroinflammation and Attenuates Lipopolysaccharide‐Induced Depression Via Targeting SIRT2

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
S‐ketamine binds directly to SIRT2, facilitating its interaction with NF‐κB p65. This interaction reduces the acetylation of NF‐κB p65 and inhibits its activation, thereby exerting anti‐inflammatory and antidepressant effects. Created by BioRender.

Oligonucleotide separation techniques for purification and analysis: What can we learn for today's tasks?

open access: yesELECTROPHORESIS, Volume 43, Issue 23-24, Page 2402-2427, December 2022., 2022
Abstract Nucleic acids are the blueprint of life. They are not only the construction plan of the single cell or higher associations of them, but also necessary for function, communication and regulation. Due to the pandemic, the attention shifted in particular to their therapeutic potential as a vaccine. As pharmaceutical oligonucleotides are unique in
