Attenuated Nuclear Tension Regulates Progerin‐Induced Mechanosensitive Nuclear Wrinkling and Chromatin Remodeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The premature aging‐related progerin leads to defective nuclear morphology and is associated with disrupted molecular coupling between the extranuclear cytoskeleton and lamin‐associated nuclear envelope. It is discovered that progerin expression reduces nuclear tension, forms nuclear wrinkling, and enhances chromatin dynamics, thereby regulating ...

Parvalbumin Interneuron‐Dependent Hippocampal Neurogenesis Evoked by Prolonged Rhythmic Light Flicker

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that prolonged rhythmic 40 Hz light flicker enhances spatial learning by stimulating PV interneuron‐dependent neurogenesis. The light flicker selectively activates PV interneurons, which enhances GABAergic support for the integration of immature neurons in the adult dentate gyrus.

In Situ Light‐Modulation of Capacity and Impedance in Lithium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces a dynamic light‐controlled modulation (DLCM) anode for LIBs using CdS alignments and light‐sensitive graphene, effective across UV to visible light. The developed DLCM anode exhibits a remarkable maximum capacity of 430 mAh g−1 when subjected to UV light illumination, surpassing the capacity observed in the absence of illumination,

Highly Conductive Liquid Metal Emulsion Gels for Three‐Dimensionally Printed Stretchable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a scalable two‐step method to create liquid metal emulsion gels suitable for 3D printing. The emulsion gel contains densely packed microcapsules within polymer matrices, resulting in minimal shrinkage and optimal printability. Printed features achieve excellent conductivity and ultrahigh deformability after mechanical activation ...

Smart Health Evaluation for Lithium‐Ion Battery With Super‐Short‐Segment Charging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study proposes a health feature extraction method integrating degradation mechanism‐guided scale‐invariant feature transform with machine learning for lithium‐ion batteries. Validated across 87 commercial cells with diverse chemistries and formats, it achieves 1.97% RMSE in capacity estimation using only 10% charging segments. The approach enables
