Dynamical influences of precipitation assimilation on regional downscaling [PDF]
Precipitation assimilation has previously been found to be useful for improving regional climate model simulations of the surface water and energy cycles. Here we show that upper‐level dynamical features are also better simulated. In particular, noticeable improvements in the intensity and location of the subtropical upper‐level westerly jet and ...

This work introduces a study that identifies HMGCR as a novel target in TNBC and develops a light‐gated PROTAC nanomedicine. Upon irradiation, this agent selectively degrades HMGCR, reprogramming lipid metabolism to induce ferroptosis and potent antitumor immunity, thereby significantly enhancing photoimmunotherapy efficacy.

The noncentrosymmetric trilayer rhombohedral‐stacked MoS2 nanoflakes with enhanced sliding ferroelectric properties are synthesized via a molecular sieve‐assisted chemical vapor deposition process. The switchable polarization states, combined with the exceptional light/gate voltage modulated electrical properties of these nanoflakes, enable broadband ...

Dynamical Downscaling for Southeast Alaska: Historical Climate and Future Projections
Warming temperatures across southeast Alaska are affecting the region’s energy and transportation sectors, marine ecosystems, and forest health. More frequent above-freezing temperatures lead a transition from snow- to rain-dominant precipitation regimes,

Advancing Energy Materials by In Situ Atomic Scale Methods
Progress in in situ atomic scale methods leads to an improved understanding of new and advanced energy materials, where a local understanding of complex, inhomogeneous systems or interfaces down to the atomic scale and quantum level is required. Topics from photovoltaics, dissipation losses, phase transitions, and chemical energy conversion are ...
