Dynamics in systems

This working paper presents Theory A of the Saidi Framework — a formal dynamical framework for the onset, maintenance, and resolution of psychological suffering in conscious systems. The framework derives from a single foundational axiom a scalar fear parameter f, a reachability gramian W, and the master equation Δ = W · f.

The Dynamic And-Or Quorum System

2005
We investigate issues related to the probe complexity of the And-Or quorum system and its implementation in a dynamic environment. Our contribution is twofold: We first analyze the algorithmic probe complexity of the And-Or quorum system, and present two optimal algorithms. The first is a non-adaptive algorithm with $O(\sqrt{n}log n)$ probe complexity,

Dynamics of Nonholonomic Systems

ZAMM - Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics / Zeitschrift für Angewandte Mathematik und Mechanik, 1995
AbstractThe present paper considers Hamel's equations of motion for nonholonomic systems in terms o] pseudo‐coordinates and gives an efficient method (for definiteness it is called Hamel's method) for obtaining the reaction forces. The group of the nonholonomic operators is defined and its group structural constants are given.

COHOMOLOGY OF DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS

Mathematics of the USSR-Izvestiya, 1972
In this paper criteria for the cohomological nullity of functions on phase spaces of various dynamical systems (U-systems, topological Markov chains, Smale systems) with coefficients in certain groups are formulated and proved, and applications of these criteria are studied.

Dynamics of Nonholonomic Systems

Journal of Applied Mechanics, 1961
A general method for obtaining the differential equations governing motions of a class of nonholonomic systems is presented. Several supplementary theorems are stated, and the use of the method is illustrated by means of two examples.

Universal dynamical systems

Mathematical Systems Theory, 1972
This paper is concerned with the problem of finding a universal dynamical system for all dynamical systems on separable metric spaces. Special care is given to exhibit a universal dynamical system which was used to motivate the definition of a dynamical system.

Dynamics of the Musculoskeletal System

Journal of Biomechanics, 1985
In dealing with the dynamics of the human neuromusculoskeletal system it is soon realized that a subdivision into neural, muscular and skeletal system is only conceptually possible. Functionally, all three subsystems are interdependent and must be treated as such.

Models of dynamical systems

2003
Dynamical systems can be modelled from different viewpoints. This chapter summarises the main notions. Each of the succeeding chapters uses one of these models for fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control.

Fuzzy dynamic systems

1994
The aim of this paper is to study fuzzy dynamic systems. The role of fuzzy sets in formation of a conceptual and computational platform for symbolic and numerical information processing is identified. We summarize essential properties of fuzzy partitions developed with the aid of families of fuzzy sets.
