Dynamic Equations, Control Problems on Time Scales, and Chaotic Systems
The unification of integral and differential calculus with the calculus of finite differences has been rendered possible by providing a formal structure to study hybrid discrete-continuous dynamical systems besides offering applications in diverse fields

We give a survey of the basic statistical ideas underlying the definition of entropy in information theory and their connections with the entropy in the theory of dynamical systems and in statistical mechanics.

Dynamical Systems Theory and Explanatory Indispensability [PDF]
I examine explanations’ realist commitments in relation to dynamical systems theory. First I rebut an ‘explanatory indispensability argument’ for mathematical realism from the explanatory power of phase spaces. Then I critically consider a possible way of strengthening the indispensability argument by reference to attractors in dynamical systems theory.

In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

A central limit theorem for random dynamical systems
In this article, we establish a central limit theorem (CLT) for random dynamical systems (RDS), which is a supplement to the ergodic theory of random dynamical system.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

A fast–slow dynamical systems theory for the Kuramoto type phase model
We present a fast–slow dynamical systems theory for the Kuramoto type phase model. When the order parameters are frozen, the fast system consists of independent oscillator equations, whereas the slow system describes the evolution of order parameters. We

Pod systems : an equivariant ordinary differential equation approach to dynamical systems on a spatial domain [PDF]
We present a class of systems of ordinary differential equations (ODEs), which we call 'pod systems', that offers a new perspective on dynamical systems defined on a spatial domain.

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...
