The Mu3e Experiment Searching for the Lepton Flavour Violating Decay μ+ → e+e+e− [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of 40th International Conference on High Energy physics — PoS(ICHEP2020), 2021
The Mu3e experiment is a novel experiment to search for the lepton flavour violating (LFV) decay μ+ → e+e−e+, with an ultimate sensitivity to a branching ratio of one in 2×10^15 in phase I and one in 10^16 muon decays for phase II. This is an improvement in sensitivity by four orders of magnitude compared to previous searches by the SINDRUM experiment.

The JADE experiment at the PETRA $$e^+e^-$$ collider: history, achievements and revival

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal H, 2022
AbstractThe JADE experiment was one of five large detector systems taking data at the electron–positron collider PETRA, from 1979 to 1986, at $$e^+e^-$$ e + e -

Search for Dark Photon in e+e− → A′A′ Using Future Collider Experiments

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 2023
The Standard Model (SM) does not provide an information for 26% of dark matter of the universe. In the dark sector, dark matter is supposed to be linked with the hypothetical particles called dark photons that have similar role to photons in electromagnetic interaction in the ...

Seiberg Duality and e+ e- Experiments

open access: yes, 1998
Seiberg duality in supersymmetric gauge theories is the claim that two different theories describe the same physics in the infrared limit. However, one cannot easily work out physical quantities in strongly coupled theories and hence it has been difficult to compare the physics of the electric and magnetic theories.

Summary of e+e− Colliding Beam Experiments [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 1973
This paper discusses recent experiments related to e+e− ⇒ hadrons. Subjects discussed include hadron form factors, the total hadronic cross section, multiplicities and some specific channels.

Measuring ψ″→ρπ in e+e− experiment

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2003
AbstractIn S- and D-wave mixing scheme, the branching ratio of ψ″→ρπ is estimated. Together with the continuum cross section of ρπ estimated by form factor, the observed cross section of ρπ production at ψ″ in e+e− experiment is calculated taking into account the interference effect between the resonance and continuum amplitudes and the initial state ...

Recent results on e +e − annihilation to hadrons in the SND experiment

open access: yesSuplemento de la Revista Mexicana de Física, 2022
Recent results of the SND experiment at the VEPP-2000 collider on e +e − annihilation to hadrons below 2 GeV are presented. In particular, we discuss measurements of the e +e − → π +π − and e +e − → nn¯ cross sections. The processes e +e − → π +π −π 0 , K+K−π 0 , ηπ0 γ and 2ηγ were under investigation as well.

Weak Neutral Currents in e+e- Experiments [PDF]

open access: yes, 1985
Experimental results on weak neutral currents in e+e- experiments at PETRA and PEP are reviewed. The precise measurements of the leptonic reactions e+e- → e+e- μ+μ- and τ+τ- are used to determine the weak neutral current parameters. The main result is the observation of a significant forward-backward asymmetry in the angular distribution of e+e- → μ+,μ-
