Observation of the rare η → e+e-e+e- decay with the KLOE experiment
2011"We report the first observation of the rare eta -> e(+)e(-)e(+)e(-)(gamma) decay based on 1.7 fb(-1) collected by the KLOE experiment at the DA Phi NE phi-factory. The selection of the e(+)e(-)e(+)e(-) final state is fully inclusive of radiation. We have identified 362 +\/- 29 events resulting in a branching ratio of (2.4 +\/- 0.2(stat+bckg) +\/- 0.1 ...

Experiments at the new VEPP-2000 e+e− collider
Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 2004Abstract The new VEPP-2000 e + e − collider now under construction in Novosibirsk is described. Two upgraded detectorsSND and CMD-3 plan experiments in the c.m. energy range 0.4–2.0 GeV. The physical program includes precise measurements of the total hadronic cross section, studies of exclusive hadronic channels, two photon physics, nucleon form

(e,e′f)-Coincidence Experiments on Uranium Isotopes
1986(e,e′f)-coincidence experiments represent the most powerful tool to investigate the decay properties of giant multipole resonances, especially of the isoscalar giant quadrupole resonance (GQR), in heavy nuclei. Besides the advantages of the inelastic electron scattering, the coincidence between the fission fragments and the scattered electron causes a ...

Pseudoscalar Higgs boson in experiments at e + e − colliders
Physics of Particles and Nuclei, 2008The potential of experiments at e+e− colliders to search for a signal of a new pseudoscalar Higgs boson and to study its CP properties is analyzed. A new Higgs boson coupling to the b quark and τ lepton, which is parameterized in a model-independent way as mb/v(a + iγ5b), is chosen to be an indicator of its CP nature. We study the e+e− → τ+τ−vv, e+e− →

Experiments at the VEPP-2M e+e− collider in Novosibirsk
Nuclear Physics B - Proceedings Supplements, 2001The present status of experiments at VEPP-2M e+e− collider, operating in Novosibirsk in the energy range 2E0 from 0.4 to 1.4 GeV with two detectors SND and CMD-2, is given. The total integrated luminosity, collected by the both detectors is close to 70 pb−1. New radiative decays of light vector mesons ρ, ω, φ into ππγ and ηπ0γ were measured, indicating

High Resolution Quasi-Free (e,e′p) Experiments
1986The purpose of these lectures is to provide an introduction to recent state-of-the-art developments in the field of the quasi-free proton-knock-out process induced by high-energy (=500 MeV) electrons. In the electron scattering (e,e′) response function d2σ/dΩde′ of a nucleus the quasi-free process becomes the dominant feature when the wavelength of the
