E-Filing: Awareness and perception among taxpayers

E-filing is an initiative of revenue department of Central Government of India to enable quick and easy process of filing the returns.  As per the Income Tax Act, 1961 and Income Tax rules 1962 every citizen is obligated to file the returns under different heads, with the Income Tax Department at the end of every year.
