Enzymatic degradation of biopolymers in amorphous and molten states: mechanisms and applications

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This review explains how polymer morphology and thermal state shape enzymatic degradation pathways, comparing amorphous and molten biopolymer structures. By integrating structure–reactivity principles with insights from thermodynamics and enzyme engineering, it highlights mechanisms that enable efficient polymer breakdown.

Mean curvature flow of monotone Lagrangian submanifolds

open access: yes, 2006
We use holomorphic disks to describe the formation of singularities in the mean curvature flow of monotone Lagrangian submanifolds in $\mathbb C^{n}$.Comment: 37 pages, 3 ...

Differential regulation of ZFAS1 splice variants by endoplasmic reticulum stress in hepatocyte cell lines

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ZFAS1 is a lncRNA promoting cell proliferation and migration, exhibiting high expression in various cancers. It is conserved, widely expressed, and produces multiple splice variants with unclear roles. We identified several splice variants in hepatocyte models, and found that inhibiting or suppressing regulators of the unfolded protein response (PERK ...

Infiltração apical em obturações de canais realizadas após aplicação do laser Nd: YAG ou solução de EDTA nas paredes do canal radicular Apical leakage in root canal fillings performed with two types of cement following application of Nd: YAG laser or EDTA solution in the root canal walls

open access: yesJournal of Applied Oral Science, 2003
Avaliou-se a infiltração marginal apical em obturações endodônticas utilizando dois tipos de cimentos após a aplicação do laser Nd:YAG ou solução de EDTA nas paredes do canal radicular.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Lesion Location and Functional Connections Reveal Cognitive Impairment Networks in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Cognitive impairment, fatigue, and depression are common in multiple sclerosis (MS), potentially due to disruption of regional functional connectivity caused by white matter (WM) lesions. We explored whether WM lesions functionally connected to specific brain regions contribute to these MS‐related manifestations.

Pengujian Performa Mesin E-FILL Dalam Proses Pengisian Air Pada Botol

open access: yesJournal of Computer, Electronic, and Telecommunication
