Folinic Acid Improves Healing of Diabetic Foot Ulcers
ABSTRACT A novel folinic acid (FA) wound treatment (FAWT) significantly (p < 0.05) improved healing (re‐epithelialization) of chronic diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs). In a double‐blind RCT, 10 (n = 10) chronic DFU subjects received daily topical treatment in either the Control group [(n = 5); PluroGel] or the FAWT group [(n = 5); PluroGel with FA 2.5 ...

Understanding nonuse of mandatory e-scooter helmets
Head injuries resulting from e-scooter use have led to calls for helmet use to be promoted or mandatory. Helmet use is mandatory for e-scooters in Australia but observational studies have reported significant levels of nonuse, particularly by riders of shared e-scooters.

Harmonizing Dockless E-Scooters: Insights from Paris
Improper parking is one of the most significant barriers to the adoption and acceptance of dockless shared e-scooters worldwide. This paper investigates the effects of mandatory parking regulations in Paris that require e-scooters to be parked in designated bays in the form of painted corrals.

THE VERTICAL STIFFNESS OF E-SCOOTER TIRES
E-scooter sharing systems have a great international expansion. There is no publication that refers to the wheels used in e-scooters. In this work, these stiffness curves for wheels currently used in e-scooters were obtained experimentally. Average stiffness values from 0.9 E5 N/m to 3.6 E5 N/m has been obtained.
