The hybrid Eucalyptus UP99 (E. urophylla x E. pellita) and UP95 (E. urophylla x E. pellita) were recognized as a high economic value species according to Decision 65/QĐ-BNN-LN on January 11th in 2013. However, it is very difficult to the famer in identifying these species by morphological observation.

Comparative microsporogenesis and flower development in Eucalyptus urophylla × E. grandis
Journal of Forestry Research, 2015Microsporogenesis and flower development in Eucalyptus urophylla × E. grandis were examined using chromosome tableting to provide a method to predict the meiotic stages in this species. Although microsporogenesis was normal, cytokinesis during meiosis of pollen mother cells occurred simultaneously, with strong asynchronism observed in the two different

Micropropagation of Eucalyptus grandis × E. urophylla AEC 224 clone
Journal of Forestry Research, 2016Genetic transformation systems require protocols that allow regenerating transgenic plants from transformed tissues. This study aimed to establish a protocol for indirect organogenesis in leaf explants of a Eucalyptus grandis × E. urophylla AEC 224 clone. During callogenesis stage, several concentrations of NAA and then NAA or 2,4-D combined with TDZ

Biolistic transformation of Eucalyptus grandis x E. urophylla callus
Australian Journal of Plant Physiology, 2002A procedure for genetic transformation of the hybrid Eucalyptus grandis × E. urophylla using particle bombardment is described. Cotyledon- and hypocotyl-derived calli growing on SP medium supplemented with 2 m thidiazuron or on MS modified (MSM) medium supplemented with 10 m 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) and 2.5 m ...

To develop a successful protocol forAgrobacterium-mediated transformation in plants it is essential to determine the most efficient bacterial strain/plant genotype interaction. In the present work, we evaluated the susceptibility ofEucalyptus grandis ×E. urophylla to fiveAgrobacterium rhizogenes and twelveA. tumefaciens wildtype strains.

Plant regeneration from seedling explants of Eucalyptus grandis × E. urophylla
Plant Cell, Tissue and Organ Culture, 1999Hypocotyls, cotyledons, cotyledonary nodes and primary leaves were used as explants to establish a regeneration protocol for Eucalyptus grandis × E. urophylla. These seedling-derived explants were incubated on a modified MS medium (SP medium), supplemented with 2.0 μM TDZ.

Abstract The phenolic composition of Eucalyptus grandis , Eucalyptus urograndis ( E. grandis × E. urophylla ) and Eucalyptus maidenii bark is reported for the first time. High performance liquid chromatography–electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HPLC–ESI-MS) and tandem mass spectrometry (MS n ) analysis of the methanol:water (50:50 ...

Interspecific hybrids of Eucalyptus urophylla S. T. Blake × E. tereticornis Smith were used for quantitative genetic analysis of cold hardiness (CH) and growth traits height (H), diameter at breast height (D) and volume (V) at 0.5, 1.5, 2.5 and 4 years of age. The effect of E. tereticornis male variance was significant (P
