Structural Analysis of Plasmid pLQ510 from Moraxella catarrhalis E22

The complete nucleotide sequence of plasmid pLQ510 from Moraxella catarrhalis strain E22 has been determined. This plasmid contained 12,082 bp with 38% GC content. Five open reading frames that encoded predicted proteins with homology to plasmid-encoded proteins from other bacteria were identified.

Contrast Challenge at Ultra-high-intensity: from E22 to E26

Current contrast‐control‐technology is inadequate for solid targets with the next generation of high‐intensity lasers. We apply a spatiotemporal‐contrast‐concept (STC) to demonstrate that intensity∼1026 W/cm2 is feasible for transparent solids at STC ∼1015.

Using the E22 transition of carbon nanotubes for fiber laser mode-locking
