Micellisation and gelation of block-copoly(oxyethylene/oxybutylene/oxyethylene) E58 B17 E58
Colloid and Polymer Science, 1992A triblock-copoly(oxybutylene/oxyethylene), denoted E58 B17 E58 (80 wt-% E), was prepared by sequential anionic copolymerisation and its micellar and gelation properties in aqueous solution were determined. The oxybutylene/oxyethylene copolymer had the advantage over comparable oxypropylene/oxyethylene copolymers of greater uniformity of composition ...

A comparison between the cellulase systems of Trichoderma harzianum E58 and Trichoderma reesei C30
Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, 1985Nearly all of the filter paper, endoglucanase and β-glucosidase activities of T. harzianum E58 were located extracellularly, with low amounts of these activities detected in the cell extracts and relatively little associated with the cell wall. Most of the filter paper and endoglucanase activities of T. reesei C30 were detected extracellularly.

Abstract Introduction Juvenile dermatomyositis is an autoimmune connective tissue disorder characterized by idiopathic inflammatory myopathy primarily affecting the skin and muscles(1, 2). It may occur alone or in overlap syndromes usually with systemic scleroderma, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE ...

Xylanase production by Trichoderma harzianum E58
Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, 1989Growth of Trichoderma harzianum E58 on hemicellulose-rich media, both in batch and fermentor cultures, resulted in independent profiles for the production of xylanase and endoglucanase enzymes. Dramatic differences in the ratio of xylanase to endoglucanase activities were observed among cultures grown on cellulose-rich Solka Floc and xylan.

Production of \-mannanases by Trichoderma harzianum E58
Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, 1990The extracellular mannanase and endoglucanase activities of Trichoderma harzianum E58 were followed during growth of the fungus on 1% (w/v) mannose, Avicel, locust bean gum, konjac powder or the water-soluble fraction from stream-treated white spruce (SWS). Peak galactomannanase activities of 0.60 IU/ml and 0.66 IU/ml were detected in culture filtrates

Glucose production using immobilized mycelial-associated ?-glucosidase of Trichoderma E58
Biotechnology Letters, 1982The immobilization of the mycelial-associated β-glucosidase of Trichoderma E-58 has been carried out by encapsulating, in calcium alginate beads, the fungal mycelium obtained durinq liquid culture. The activity of this immobilized β-glucosidase was found to vary with culture age and to be more thermally stable than the extracellular β-glucosidase ...
