Joint Wire Cutting with Non‐Maximally Entangled States

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, Volume 8, Issue 5, May 2025.
Wire cutting decomposes large quantum circuits into smaller subcircuits by severing connecting wires, enabling execution on multiple distributed devices. This study employs non‐maximally entangled (NME) states in joint wire cuts to reduce their overhead.

Inhibitory Potential and Binding Thermodynamics of Scyllatoxin‐Based BH3 Domain Mimetics Targeting Repressor BCL2 Proteins

open access: yesJournal of Molecular Recognition, Volume 38, Issue 2, March 2025.
ABSTRACT The B‐cell lymphoma 2 (BCL2) proteins are a class of apoptosis regulators that control the release of apoptogenic factors from mitochondria. Under normal physiological conditions, apoptosis is inhibited through the actions of anti‐apoptotic (repressor) BCL2 proteins that bind semi‐indiscriminately to the helical BH3 domains of pro‐apoptotic ...

Efficacy of an oral chew containing fibre and Bacillus velezensis C‐3102 in the management of anal sac impaction in dogs

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, Volume 36, Issue 1, Page 74-82, February 2025.
Background — Anal sac impaction is common in dogs and manual expression may be effective, yet recurrence remains a problem. To facilitate physiological emptying of the sacs, it is important to maintain a bulky stool consistency. Objectives — The study evaluated if supplementation with ProGlan, a complementary feed containing Bacillus velezensis C‐3102 ...

The Dynamical Analysis of Food‐Web System With a Group Defense and Antipredator Property

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Prey employ group defense as a tactic to increase their chances of escaping predator attacks. Antipredator behavior, which involves synchronized movements and heightened awareness to deceive predators, may result from it. When one prey species has group defensive systems while the other does not, there is a complex interaction between two competing ...
