Delivery of Pleckstrin‐Homology Domains Suppresses PI3K/Akt Signaling and Breast Cancer Metastasis

Current therapies curb tumor growth but not metastasis. Obscurin, a giant metastasis suppressor lost in breast cancer, restrains PI3K/Akt signaling but is impractical to restore. We deploy a mini‐obscurin, comprising the obscurin‐PH‐domain, which sequesters PI3K‐p85, potently suppressing invasion and metastasis.

Reactivity of Mabs towards HPV16 L1 VLPs was determined as described in Materials and methods. Panels A and B show the reactivity of each type of VLP towards H16.V5 and H16.E70, respectively. The absorbance of HPV16 L1 VLP-8% was set at 100%.

This study demonstrates the successful incorporation of Spent Foundry Sand (SFS) as a sustainable alternative to natural sand in concrete, enhancing compressive and tensile strengths by up to 26% and 12.87%, respectively, while reducing chloride permeability.
