Trends in Ferromagnetism in Mn doped dilute III-V alloys from a density functional perspective [PDF]
Mn doping in dilute III-V alloys has been examined as a route to enhance ferromagnetic stability. Strong valence band bowing is expected at the dilute limit, implying a strong modification of the ferromagnetic stability upon alloying, with even an ...

INITIATION ON ECOSYSTEM APPROACH TO FISHERIES MANAGEMENT (EAFM): CASE STUDY ON TARAKAN FISHERIES
An EAFM from a global perspective is still moving towards on implementation. EAFM is based on conventional fisheries management but broadens the perspective beyond seeing a fishery as simply “fish in the sea, people in boats,” beyond consideration only of commercially important species, and beyond management efforts directed solely at the harvesting ...

Which Chromium–Sulfur Compounds Exist as 2D Material?
2D chromium sulfides synthesized using molecular beam epitaxy on graphene. Structural characterization reveals two novel 2D materials, Cr2S3‐2D, which lacks a direct bulk counterpart, and Cr223S${\rm Cr}_{2\frac{2}{3}}{\rm S}$4‐2D, a minimum thickness version of Cr5S6. However, attempts to synthesize CrS2 are unsuccessful. Both new 2D phases are stable

Assessment of lobster resources management with ecosystem approach in Pangandaran Water
The development of lobster production in pangandaran during the last decade (2006-2013) is in the range of 0.5 to 12 ton/year with an increasing trend in 2010-2013, but then increasingly decline since 2014.

ABSTRACT Private sustainability fisheries certification has become increasingly popular over the past years as a new form of governance for fisheries in developing countries. The certification scheme is very promising because it offers benefits through market‐based incentives, including market access, social benefits by empowering fishers, and ...

Peculiarities of the stochastic motion in antiferromagnetic nanoparticles
Antiferromagnetic (AFM) materials are widely used in spintronic devices as passive elements (for stabilization of ferromangetic layers) and as active elements (for information coding). In both cases switching between the different AFM states depends in a

Uniaxial pressure induced half-metallic ferromagnetic phase transition in LaMnO$_3$
We use first-principles theory to predict that the application of uniaxial compressive strain leads to a transition from an antiferromagnetic insulator to a ferromagnetic half-metal phase in LaMnO$_3$.
