APPLICATION OF DIFFERENT SOURCES AND DOSES OF BORON IN THE CORN CROP
One of the main problems faced in corn cultivation, especially in Cerrado regions, is the deficiency of micronutrients. Among the micronutrients essential for the development of plants, boron (B) stands out for participating in a series of physiological ...

Magnetomechanical neuromodulation using magnetic nanodiscs enables remote activation of neurons. In a hemiparkinsonian mouse model, alternating magnetic fields actuate the nanodiscs to generate torque that opens mechanosensitive ion channels within the subthalamic nucleus, thereby modulating basal ganglia motor circuitry.

Agronomic Performance of Corn Population Selected for Nutrient Efficiency in Marginal Land [PDF]
Low soil fertility is the most important factor constraining corn (Zea mays L.) yield in marginal land due to soil acidity. Corn cultivars with high nutrient efficiency and tolerance to soil acidity offer an alternative to solve the problem.

The study elucidates that paternal preconception stress can drive offspring hyperresponsivity of the stress system via hypomethylation of a specific DNA region in sperm. This key link is confirmed in a cohort of prospective fathers: the epigenetic alteration is associated with elevated stress hormone levels.
