Wafer‐Scale Atomically‐Thin Gold: Transferable Platform for Flexible Optoelectronics, Thermal Management and Bio‐Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Combining template stripping with a graphene‐inspired transfer yields continuous, transferable gold films at 6‐inch wafer scale with thicknesses approaching the atomic limit. The atomically smooth, near‐bulk‐quality films offer above 86% transmittance and sub‐20 Ω/square sheet resistance, serving as a universal platform for flexible optoelectronics ...

Roman Exempla in the Early Tudor Period

open access: yesEnglish: Journal of the English Association, 2019
Abstract Roman exempla, or moralizing anecdotes, appear frequently in the English literature of the early Tudor period. Textual, authorial, and historical exempla offered a language people could use to counsel the king and their fellow Englishmen and women.

Regions, History, and Identity in Medieval Liturgics: The Outlines of a Methodology

open access: yesReligions, 2023
Apropos of Spanish or Languedocien elements manifest in the late 13th-century Durandus Pontifical, this study explores the relationship between high medieval ritual and identity formation. It introduces the notion of liturgical use, an inclusive term for

SIZ1‐Mediated SUMOylation of LBD29 Recruits ARF7 to Fine‐Tune Auxin Signaling in Lateral Root Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our findings establish SUMOylation as a key post‐translational control layer in auxin signaling. We show that SIZ1‐mediated SUMOylation of LBD29 promotes its association with ARF7, stabilizing a transcriptional hub that governs lateral root development.

Amphorae ex Aegysso. Fragments from Older Excavations [PDF]

open access: yesPeuce, 2018
This paper presents a sample of early and late Roman amphorae fragments discovered during several excavations performed at Aegyssus–Tulcea-Colnicul Hora in the 1959-1996 period, with the purpose of bringing a small contribution to the study of the ...

Ornitofauna from the archaeological sites in Vojvodina (Serbia) [PDF]

open access: yesZbornik Matice Srpske za Prirodne Nauke, 2013
After decades-long vertebrate fauna research, out of 42 archaeological sites in Vojvodina (Serbia) from different periods ranging from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages, remains of birds were registered at 17 sites (4 from the Neolithic, 1 from ...

Transposable Element Dynamics Drive the Genomic Evolution and Phenotypic Diversification of Allotetraploid Common Carp

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By integrating 516 whole‐genome resequencing datasets and 236 transcriptomes of allotetraploid common carp, this study establishes the first population‐scale atlas of transposable element (TE) variation in teleost species. TE bursts, relaxed purifying selection, and lineage‐specific loss of ancient insertions shape genome evolution and phenotypic ...

Multimodal Imaging of Hypoxia, Metabolism and pH in Feline Sarcoma Using Hyperpolarized 13C MRI and PET

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a clinically deployable simultaneous PET/MRI workflow which integrates hyperpolarized 13C imaging of metabolism and extracellular pH with [18F]FMISO PET to characterize hypoxia, acidosis, and metabolic reprogramming in feline sarcoma.

Brain Network Dynamics of Local and Global Predictive Processing in Aging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Separation of concurrent whole‐brain networks in source‐reconstructed magnetoencephalography (MEG) data suggests that healthy aging reorganizes, rather than uniformly attenuates, neural responses elicited from hierarchical auditory violations. Enhanced early sensory deviance processing alongside reduced higher‐order cognitive responses suggests a large‐
