Consistent modeling of the geodetic precession in Earth rotation [PDF]
A highly precise model for the motion of a rigid Earth is indispensable to reveal the effects of non-rigidity in the rotation of the Earth from observations. To meet the accuracy goal of modern theories of Earth rotation of 1 microarcsecond (muas) it is clear, that for such a model also relativistic effects have to be taken into account. The largest of

3D Concrete Printing of Triply Periodic Minimum Surfaces for Enhanced Carbon Capture and Storage
A 3D‐printable and carbon‐capturing concrete is developed by replacing cement with diatomaceous earth (DE), which enhances rheology, provides hierarchical porosity, and serves as a nucleation site for carbonation. Maximum absorption of 488.7 gCO2 kgcement−1 is achieved in 7 days, a 142% increase over conventional concrete, and the triply periodic ...

Measuring the angular momentum of a neutron using Earth's rotation
A coupling between Earth's rotation and orbital angular momentum (OAM), known as the Sagnac effect, is observed in entangled neutrons produced using a spin-echo interferometer. After correction for instrument systematics the measured coupling is within 5%

Gravimetric Detection of Earth’s Rotation Using Crowdsourced Smartphone Observations
When proper measurement and calibration protocols are applied, smartphone sensors can generate relatively good-quality data that compare well with professional-grade, calibrated systems, but at far-lower cost.

Transverse and Longitudinal Doppler Effects of the Sunbeam Spectra and Earth-Self Rotation and Orbital Velocities, the Mass of the Sun and Others [PDF]
The transverse and longitudinal Doppler effects of the sunbeam spectra are shown to result in the earth parameters such as the earth-self rotation and revolution velocities, the earth orbit semi-major axis, the earth orbital angular momentum, the earth axial tilt, the earth orbit eccentricity, the local latitude and the mass of the sun.

Earth's surface fluid variations and deformations from GPS and GRACE in global warming
Global warming is affecting our Earth's environment. For example, sea level is rising with thermal expansion of water and fresh water input from the melting of continental ice sheets due to human-induced global warming.

Conductive Polymer Coatings Control Reaction Selectivity in All‐Iron Redox Flow Batteries
Aqueous redox flow batteries are limited by the competing hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) at their negative electrodes. In this work, conductive polymers are conformally coated on porous carbonaceous electrodes to improve the reaction selectivity of hybrid all‐iron redox flow batteries.

The retarding effect of glacier degradation on the Earth’s rotation
IntroductionThe massive loss of global glacier mass caused by climate problems has caused concern, while the Earth’s rotation as the most significant form of motion has also been subtly affected.
