Based on Cloud Model of Earth-Rockfill Dam Deformation Forecast

2012 Third Global Congress on Intelligent Systems, 2012
The cloud model is a qualitative concept and its quantitative expression of uncertainty between the conversion models, and it can combine concept's fuzziness and randomness, to solve the problem of uncertainty. This article uses cloud models and cloud reasoning to predict the Earth-rock fill dam deformation, and initially solved the Earth-rock fill dam

The Analysis of Stress, Deformation and Arch Effect of the Lianghekou Earth-rockfill Dam

Indian Geotechnical Journal, 2015
Deformation, stress and arch effect are problems of interest for high earth- rockfill dams. Deformations and stresses during construction, impoundment and operation stages of Lianghekou earth-rockfill dam were studied through numerical methods. The filling materials were modeled by using the Mohr- Coulomb and Burgers models.

Elasto-Plastic Dynamic Finite Element Analysis of an Earth-Rockfill Dam

Advances in Soil Dynamics and Foundation Engineering, 2014
The Pastor-Zienkiewicz-Chan model based on the generalized plasticity theory can simulate the stress-strain relationship of soils quite well. Based on the triaxial tests of the filling materials of an earth-rockfill dam, model parameters were obtained through fittings of model and test data.

Study on Seismic-spectrum Characteristics for 300m-grade Earth-Rockfill Dam

2010 Asia-Pacific Power and Energy Engineering Conference, 2010
Combining with Shuangjiangkou Dam with height of 312 m, we make a study on the spectrum characteristics of rockfill dams with core wall adopting the dynamic model which reflects vibration-hardening character of coarse rockfill materials. The rationality of the model and parameters is verified by comparing calculated values with measured values of ...

Static Behaviour of Earth — Rockfill Dams

1991
Fill dams (or embankment dams) were the first dams built by man, they are the most numerous and the most frequently chosen when it is a question of constructing a new dam. According to Penman (1986), in 1985 statistics showed that over 80% of the large dams (higher than 15 m) constructed in the world were earth dams.

Seepage and Consolidation Analysis of High Earth-Rockfill Dam

2018
The Nuozhadu high earth-rockfill dam is the highest earth-rock dam in China. Its seepage-consolidation characteristics are very representative of high earth-rock dams. A complete monitoring system was installed in the dam, and a great deal of field observation data have been obtained.

Back analysis of earth rockfill dam's seepage property based on cloud reasoning

2010 International Conference on Computer Application and System Modeling (ICCASM 2010), 2010
For the aim of reflecting the randomness, fuzziness and the relevance between the two existed in the back analysis of earth rockfill dam's seepage property, by assumption of normal cloud distribution of the seepage parameter, a new back-analysis method based on cloud reasoning is presented in this paper.

Research of Cloud Neural Network and its Application on Seepage of Earth Rockfill Dam

Advanced Materials Research, 2011
For the aim of being able to reflect the randomness, fuzziness and the relevance between the two existed in the seepage property of earth rockfill dam, by assumption of normal cloud distribution of the seepage parameter, a new back-analysis method based on cloud neural network(CNN) is presented in this paper, which has being used in the nonlinear ...

Numerical analysis of the anti-seepage measures for high earth rockfill dam on deep overburden

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2012
The anti-seepage measures of a high earth rockfill dam built on the foundation with a deep overburden affects the stability and safety of the dam greatly. Nowadays there are few researches on this area both at home and abroad. On the basis of the finite element seepage analysis of the Pubugou high rockfill dam in which core walls and two cut-off walls ...
