Two earth-tongue genera new for Turkey
Mycotaxon, 2013The genera Spathulariopsis (Cudoniaceae) and Trichoglossum (Geoglossaceae) are recorded from Turkey for the first time, based on the collections of Spathulariopsis velutipes and Trichoglossum hirsutum. Short descriptions and photographs of the taxa are provided.

Abstract A fast novel complexometric titration procedure is proposed, in which equivalence concentrations were determined using a potentiometric electronic tongue. The titration consists in a reduced number of fixed additions of titrant and the recording of the potentials of an array of ion-selective electrodes with cross-selectivity response.

Development of Electronic Tongue for Detection of Rare Earth Elements in Natural Surroundings
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2011The rare earth elements (like lanthanum) and other metals like zirconium, arsenic, potassium, copper etc. are some of the elements, which are found in the natural surrounding. Since these metals have immense utility in the field of medical science, energy efficient electronic devices, nuclear energy domain, early and easy detection of such metals is ...

Geoglossum simile is a distinctive species of the earth tongue class Geoglossomycetes, first described in 1873. The taxonomic standing of this species has long been disputed, resulting in nearly 70 years of potential misdiagnoses. Although G. simile was original- ly described from North America, it has subsequently been reported from several European ...
