Jurassic smectite and kaolinite trends of the East European Platform: implications for palaeobathymetry and palaeoclimate

open access: yes, 2003
Clay minerals cannot only give information on sedimentary depositional environment but also the climate regime under which sediment was weathered. The successions of non-marine to marine Middle and Late Jurassic strata of the East European Platform show ...

Zaplavnensky horizon - a new stratone in the Lower Triassic of the East European platform

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений: Геология и разведка, 2016
A new horizon, called Zaplavnensky, is suggested on the base of verhnesukhorechenskaya subsuite of Buzulukskaya depression in the Lower Triassic of the East European platform.

New paleomagnetic data on the Permian-Triassic sedimentary sections of the Moscow syneclise

open access: yesУчёные записки Казанского университета: Серия Естественные науки, 2020
The results of a detailed paleomagnetic study of the following five Permian-Triassic sections of the Russian Platform were discussed: Slukino (Vladimir region), Sartakovo and Prudovka (Nizhny Novgorod region), Klykovo and Gavrino (Vologda region).

U-Pb LA-ICP-MS DATING OF DETRITAL ZIRCON FROM UPPER PERMIAN SANDSTONE OF THE BOYEVAYA GORA SECTION (ORENBURG REGION, SOUTHERN CIS-URALS)

open access: yesГеодинамика и тектонофизика, 2022
The first results of U-Pb LA-ICP-MS dating of 150 detrital zircon grains from the Upper Permian sandstone of the Boyevaya Gora section (Orenburg region, the Southern Cis-Urals) are presented. 95 conditional zircon U-Pb isotopic dates form two age peaks –

The impact of leukocyte‐associated RNA retention on platelet RNA‐based cancer detection

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Platelets carry RNA signals that may help detect cancer, but platelet samples can also retain RNA from white blood cells. We found that this retained white blood cell signal did not significantly affect machine learning cancer classification, suggesting that the cancer‐related RNA signal in platelets is largely independent of leukocyte‐associated RNA ...

PROVENANCE OF THE PERMIAN-TRIASSIC RED BEDS FROM THE EASTERN PART OF THE MOSCOW BASIN, EAST EUROPEAN PLATFORM: U-Pb LA-ICP-MS AND RAMAN SPECTROSCOPY DETRITAL ZIRCON DATA

open access: yesГеодинамика и тектонофизика, 2023
We present the first systematic results of U-Pb LA-ICP-MS dating of detrital zircons from 12 samples representing different stratigraphic levels of 5 sections of the Permian-Triassic rocks, located within the eastern part of the Moscow basin (syneclise) –

Identification of (20R)‐protopanaxadiol from Panax ginseng as a novel anti‐SARS‐CoV‐2 compound

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We established a noninfectious BAC‐based SARS‐CoV‐2 replicon that enables antiviral screening under BSL‐2 conditions. Using this platform, we screened 373 food‐derived compounds and identified (20R)‐protopanaxadiol from Panax ginseng as a novel inhibitor of SARS‐CoV‐2 RNA replication, highlighting the value of safe replicon systems for antiviral ...

East European sedimentary basins long heated by a fading mantle upwelling

open access: yesNature Communications
A strong negative anomaly of seismic wave velocities at the core-mantle boundary (the Perm Anomaly) beneath the East European platform is attributed to the remnant of a deep mantle upwelling.
