Solution‐processed Cu(bdc) forms prototypical MOF thin films for which a multitude of not fully satisfactory structural models have been suggested. Combining rotating grazing‐incidence diffraction and X‐ray reflectivity on two complementary samples with density‐functional theory, we first discard the previously suggested models and then identify a non ...

Unraveling the Electronic Structure of Silicon Vacancy Centers in 4H‐SiC
The electronic structure of the silicon vacancy in 4H‐SiC is probed via transient absorption spectroscopy, uncovering previously inaccessible excited states of the quartet and doublet spin channels, including the V2' transition. In combination with theoretical analysis, a comprehensive picture of the electronic structure is established.

Nonparametric bounds on employment and income effects of continuous vocational training in East Germany [PDF]
This paper explores the potential of an approach suggested by Manski of obtaining nonparametric bounds for treatment effects in evaluation studies without knowledge of the participation process.

Magnetic‐field‐assisted CVD of heterometallic single‐source precursors modulates thin‐film surface electronic structure and interfacial charge transfer. Field‐grown (Cobalt ferrite‐1T)CF‐1T films exhibit stabilized electronic states, lower kinetic barriers, and markedly enhanced nitrate‐to‐ammonia electrocatalysis versus (Cobalt ferrite‐0T) CF‐0T ...

Trends in East-West German Migration from 1989 to 2002 [PDF]
The purpose of this article is to show recent trends in regional migration from East to West Germany by combining data from the Statistisches Bundesamt from 1991 to 2002 with data from the Zentrales Einwohnerregister der DDR from 1989 to 1990.

Ultrasmall High‐Entropy Materials: Nanoscale Effects, Synthesis, and Mechanistic Insights
This review article focuses on sub‐10 nm high‐entropy materials that combine nanoscale design with complex compositions for next‐generation applications. ABSTRACT Ultrasmall high‐entropy nanomaterials (USHENMs, <10 nm) merge multicomponent chemistry with size‐dependent effects, forming a distinct class of materials with unprecedented properties.

Post-Unification Wage Growth in East Germany [PDF]
Following monetary union with west Germany in June 1990 the median real monthly wage of prime age east German workers rose by 83% in six years. I use the German Socio-Economic Panel data to investigate the determinants of this wage growth and some of ...
