Sedimentary Breccias Synextension in the North-Eastern Pyrenees

This chapter focuses on the Late Jurassic breccias known as “brèche limite”, which are preserved in a large part of the Pyrenees. Their age coincides with the first phases of extensional deformation between the Iberian and Eurasian plates. The Pyrenees correspond to a chain that currently extends over 400 km from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean.
