Data from a prospective cohort with 112 auditory brainstem implant users are analyzed. Younger age at implantation (<3 years), less severe inner‐ear malformation (common cavity, cochlear aplasia, and hypoplasia), and more intraoperative eABR evoked electrodes (≥60%) are associated with better hearing and speech outcomes.

Chchd10: A Novel Metabolic Sensor Modulating Adipose Tissue Homeostasis
Chchd10 is a novel regulator of adipose tissue (AT) homeostasis upon excess energy intake. Rapid Chchd10 reduction in response to high‐fat diet induction promotes adipogenesis in subcutaneous AT to store excess energy. On the other hand, sustained Chchd10 reduction protects visceral AT from 4‐HNE‐induced adipocyte dysfunction, attenuating the ...

Nanoodor Particles Deliver Drugs to Central Nervous System via Olfactory Pathway
This study have elucidated the brain‐targeted delivery pathways and transport mechanisms of nanoodors by various technical means and found that the olfactory pathway is main one. Nanoodors can rapidly deliver drugs to the central nervous system via olfactory pathway and will hopefully solve the delivery challenges for various types of central nervous ...
