Design and Characterization of Dual‐Modal Fluorinated BODIPY Probes

Here we show a fluorinated BODIPY dye that combine 19F traceability with photoluminescence, properly designed to reduce aggregation‐induced quenching and to adjust the packing in condensed environments. The molecule can be encapsulated in Pluronic F68‐stabilized poly(lactic‐co‐glycolic acid) nanoparticles.
