Identification of a Susceptibility Gene for Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae in Vietnamese Elite Rice (Oryza sativa L.) Cultivar Bacthom 7

open access: yesPlant Breeding, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo) is the causal agent of bacterial leaf blight (BLB) disease in rice, exerting a detrimental impact on the yield of various rice cultivars in Vietnam, notably the Bacthom 7 (BT7) variety. Xoo possesses transcription activator‐like effectors (TALEs) which modulate the expression of host genes by specifically ...

Beyond Traditional Covariates: An Interpretable Machine Learning Workflow for Improved Hybrid Pharmacometric Modeling

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics &Systems Pharmacology, Volume 15, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Model‐informed precision dosing is often constrained by the limited generalizability of traditional population pharmacokinetic models, especially in critically ill patients. A hybrid machine learning‐population pharmacokinetic framework is proposed to improve a priori pharmacokinetic predictions by integrating real‐world clinical data.

Oxygen Vacancy Passivation by Compensation Technique to Address the Conflict Between Mobility and Threshold Voltage of Heterojunction Oxide Transistors

open access: yesSmall Structures, Volume 7, Issue 8, August 2026.
This work presents a facile surface passivation strategy for heterojunction transistors. Using an NH4Cl solution, it resolves the threshold voltage and mobility conflict in IZO/ZnO heterojunction transistors. High field‐effect mobility is preserved by passivating surface oxygen vacancies on ZnO, where OH groups form stable Zn–OH species at room ...

Atomic Layer Deposition of Metallic Molybdenum Dioxide Thin Films Enabling High‐k Rutile Capacitors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, Volume 13, Issue 14, 21 July 2026.
The first direct atomic layer deposition (ALD) process of molybdenum dioxide (MoO2) thin films is reported using molybdenum(II) acetate dimer (Mo2(OAc)4) and oxygen (O2) as precursors at 235°C–275°C. The films are crystalline, exceptionally pure, and conductive.
