Successful ablation of concealed accessory pathway mediated supraventricular tachycardia in a 5-year-old child with Ebstein anomaly [PDF]
Here we report a case of a 5-year-old boy with Ebstein anomaly and supraventricular tachycardia. He was diagnosed with Ebstein anomaly at the age of 3 months during the workup for afebrile convulsions, and has been followed by a pediatric cardiologist ...

EBSTEIN’S ANOMALY IS A RARE congenital heart defect characterized by displacement of the tricuspid valve leaflets into the right ventricle.1The defect was first described by Wilhelm Ebstein in 1866.2This anomaly of the tricuspid valve causes the right atrium to thin and become enlarged, resulting in a wide range of clinical presentations.3Clinical ...

Four cases of Ebstein's anomaly are described, revealing that the clinical features permit diagnosis in the majority of instances and that cardiac catheterization affords precise confirmation of the diagnosis. The occurrence of this anomaly in acyanotic adults is pointed out, and the similarity to acquired valvular rheumatic heart disease is stressed.

Ebstein's anomaly is a malformation of the tricuspid valve with myopathy of the right ventricle (RV) that presents with variable anatomic and pathophysiologic characteristics, leading to equally variable clinical scenarios. Medical management and observation is often recommended for asymptomatic patients and may be successful for many years.

A rare association of Ebstein anomaly with TAPVC, secundum ASD and perimembrnous VSD
Ebstein anomaly is rare congenital heart defect and frequently associated with various other cardiac defects. Here we present a combination of Ebstein anomaly with supra cardiac total anomalous pulmonary venous drainage, ostium secundum atrial septal ...

Inferior wall myocardial infarction haemodynamically complicated by associated Ebstein anomaly
Ebstein's anomaly is an uncommon cardiac malformation affecting tricuspid valve and right ventricle. We report a case of inferior wall myocardial infarction which was haemodynamically decompensated due to presence of previously undiagnosed Ebstein ...
