The European corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis Hübner), ECB, is polyphagous. In Slovenia it causes the most damage to corn (Zea mays L.) and hops (Humulus lupulus L.) but it is also often found on vegetables (tomato, pepper) and ornamentals.
