Eccentric Connectivity Index of Chemical Trees
The eccentric connectivity index $ξ^c$ is a distance--based molecular structure descriptor that was recently used for mathematical modeling of biological activities of diverse nature. We prove that the broom has maximum $ξ^c$ among trees with a fixed maximum vertex degree, and characterize such trees with minimum $ξ^c$\,.

Current Status and Challenges in Data Collection for Aerospace Coatings Deposited by Plasma Spraying
An innovative approach has been integrated into the GRENAT project to optimize plasma spraying and coating performance. Raw materials are accelerated and melted in the plasma generated by torches, creating coatings. Monitoring sensors collect process data which are combined with ex situ characterization data.

Extremal Values on the General Degree–Eccentricity Index of Unicyclic Graphs of Fixed Diameter
For a connected graph G and two real numbers a,b, the general degree–eccentricity index of G is given by DEIa,bG=∑v∈VGdGavecGbv, where VG represent the vertex set of graph G, dGv denotes the degree of vertex v, and ecGv is the eccentricity of v in G ...

New AI‐Assisted Approach for Expanding the Solution Space: Application to Lattice Structure Design
This work introduces an innovative framework for designing structured materials by ex panding the design space through reparameterization of qualitative variables into continuous structural descriptors. Combined with machine‐learning‐based prediction and multi‐objective optimization, the approach enables the discovery of novel lattice architectures ...

The Eccentric Connectivity Polynomial of some Graph Operations [PDF]
The eccentric connectivity index of a graph G, ξ^C, was proposed by Sharma, Goswami and Madan. It is defined as ξ^C(G) = ∑ u ∈ V(G) degG(u)εG(u), where degG(u) denotes the degree of the vertex x in G and εG(u) = Max{d(u, x) | x ∈ V (G)}.

The First Zagreb Index and the Narumi-Katayama Index of the Non-Commuting Graph on the Group U_{6n}
This paper introduces a novel approach to computing the First Zagreb and Narumi–Katayama indices for non-commuting graphs associated with specific algebraic groups, specifically focusing on the group U_{6n}.
