Non‐invasive Analyte Access and Sensing through Eccrine Sweat: Challenges and Outlook circa 2016

, 2016
Despite the many ergonomic advantages of eccrine perspiration (sweat) compared to other possible biofluids (particularly in “wearable” devices), sweat remains an underrepresented source of biomarker analytes compared to the established biofluids blood ...

Eccrine Porocarcinoma

Dermatology, 1991
We describe a 78-year-old woman with eccrine porocarcinoma presenting a zosteriform appearance on the lateral upper part of the buttock. Erosion and bleeding were observed in the center of a 50 × 80 mm, erythematous indurated plaque with an elevated border.

Eccrine hidrocystomas

Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, 1982
Little has been written about eccrine hidrocystomas since the condition was first described in 1893. This paper presents a "classic" case of this disorder, and reviews current knowledge about clinical and histologic features. New information concerning the etiology, histochemistry, and electron microscopy of eccrine hidrocystomas is presented, as well ...

Basal Cell Tumor With Eccrine Differentiation (Eccrine Epithelioma)

Archives of Dermatology, 1969
Two skin tumors with unusual features indicative of eccrine differentiation and behavior analogous to basal cell epitheliomas are described. The lesions were slowly growing, locally invasive, and destructive and one of them recurred many times. Pathology, histochemistry, and electron-microscopic studies indicate that these tumors are differentiating ...

Eccrine porocarcinoma

Dermatologic Therapy, 2008
Eccrine porocarcinoma (EPC) is a rare cutaneous neoplasm that grows slowly over a long period of time but often experiences an accelerated growth phase. This malignant tumor may arise denovo or evolve from a pre-existing benign eccrine poroma. Histologic evaluation demonstrates anaplastic cells involving the epidermis and infiltrating the dermis ...

Eccrine spiradenoma: A rare adnexal tumor.

Indian Journal of Cancer, 2017
Eccrine spiradenoma is one of the rare adnexal tumors with eccrine differentiation; however, it is considered to have apocrine differentiation. Around 50 cases of eccrine spiradenoma have been reported in the literature.

ECCRINE POROMA

The Journal of Dermatology, 1980
ABSTRACTA case of eccrine poroma situated on the inner surface of the right heel of a Japanese patient was studied using histochemistry and electron microscopy.Histochemically, a strong positive reaction for Phosphorylase was observed in the lower part of the tumor. In contrast, glycogen granules were distributed in large numbers in the upper part.

Basal cell tumor with eccrine differentiation (eccrine epithelioma)

Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, 1984
A case of eccrine epithelioma is presented. A 62‐year‐old woman was seen for with a lesion on the left forearm present for 36 years, and complicated by multiple recurrences. Histopathologically, it was composed of numerous small nests of basaloid cells, cystic and syringoid epithelial structures within the reticular dermis and invading the contiguous ...

Papillary Eccrine Adenoma

The American Journal of Dermatopathology, 1986
A slow-growing tumor on the dorsum of the right foot of a 25-year-old female had features that corresponded to papillary eccrine adenoma. The grouping of this entity under the term "tubular apocrine adenoma" in a recent edition of a textbook led to further study of this case in the form of enzyme histochemistry and electron microscopy.
