The role of line‐field confocal optical coherence tomography (LC‐OCT) in the diagnosis of eccrine poroma: A case report

open access: yesAustralasian Journal of Dermatology, Volume 64, Issue 3, Page e216-e219, August 2023., 2023

Line‐field optical coherence tomography (LC‐OCT) is a novel imaging technique that has shown promise in the diagnosis and monitoring of various skin conditions. We report a case of poroma diagnosed by LC‐OCT.

Recurrent PAK2 rearrangements in poroma with folliculo‐sebaceous differentiation

open access: yesHistopathology, Volume 83, Issue 2, Page 310-319, August 2023., 2023
Folliculo‐sebaceous poroma are small dermal tumours similar to eccrine poroma, but harbour ducts with frequent eosinophilic cuticles, infundibular cysts, and sparse sebocytes. Genetic investigation of the cases revealed recurrent fusion transcripts involving the PAK2 gene.
