Rare presentation of Eccrine Porocarcinoma
Eccrine porocarcinoma is a tumor of the sweat gland that mostly develops from an existing benign eccrine poroma. It is a rare cutaneous malignancy with a high risk of metastasis and recurrence. Known to affect the elderly population in general with no gender discrepancy, it presents as an ulcerative mass commonly in the trunk or head/neck region ...

Unusual Presentations of Eccrine Porocarcinomas [PDF]
Eccrine porocarcinomas (EPCs) are rare tumours, albeit the most common malignant adnexal tumours of the skin. They can present with very heterogeneous clinical and dermoscopic features, rendering diagnosis limited to histopathological examination alone.

Abstract Poroma is skin cancer that arises from the sweat gland cells. Its diagnosis could be difficult. Line‐field optical coherence tomography (LC‐OCT) is a novel imaging technique that has shown promise in the diagnosis and monitoring of various skin conditions. We report a case of poroma diagnosed by LC‐OCT.

Recurrent PAK2 rearrangements in poroma with folliculo‐sebaceous differentiation
Folliculo‐sebaceous poroma are small dermal tumours similar to eccrine poroma, but harbour ducts with frequent eosinophilic cuticles, infundibular cysts, and sparse sebocytes. Genetic investigation of the cases revealed recurrent fusion transcripts involving the PAK2 gene.
