Eccrine Porocarcinoma of the External Ear [PDF]
Ear, Nose & Throat Journal, 2011 Eccrine porocarcinoma (EP) is believed to arise from the intraepithelial portion of the eccrine sweat glands. The incidence rate of EP is reported to be 18 per 450,000 biopsies. Most of the diagnosed cases involve the lower extremities; a case of EP involving the ear is rare.
