A Dual‐Modal Wearable Pulse Detection System Integrated with Deep Learning for High‐Accuracy and Low‐Power Sleep Apnea Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dual‐modal wearable pulse detection system is developed for sleep apnea monitoring by integrating a self‐powered PENG and PPG sensor with a biomimetic fingertip structure. Through a two‐stage detection strategy, continuous PPW monitoring and on‐demand PPG detection achieve high‐accuracy sleep apnea recognition while maintaining low power consumption.

A Touch Enabled Hemodynamic and Metabolic Monitor

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a touch‐based hybrid platform for simultaneous monitoring of vital signs and sweat metabolites. With a simple tri‐finger touch of 4–6 min, users can concurrently get to know their glucose, uric acid, cortisol levels from fingertip sweat, along with blood pressure and heart rate.

A Single‐Stage Differential Amplifier Using Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A three‐transistor differential amplifier using depletion‐mode organic electrochemical transistors is implemented that offers a common‐mode rejection ratio of up to ≈20 dB. Compared to a Wheatstone bridge amplifier, ECG recordings with this amplifier showed improved signal‐to‐noise ratio, gain, and power consumption.
