Dephasing of a superconducting flux qubit [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In order to gain a better understanding of the origin of decoherence in superconducting flux qubits, we have measured the magnetic field dependence of the characteristic energy relaxation time ($T_1$) and echo phase relaxation time ($T_2^{\rm echo ...

Antidumping Echoing [PDF]

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2014
This article documents that antidumping (AD) “echoing” (i.e., different countries sequentially imposing AD measures on the same product from the same exporter) is common practice among users of AD. We develop a dynamic game where two competing importers can impose AD measures on a third exporting country in one of two periods, if at all.

Low-intensity pulsed ultrasound of different intensities differently affects myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury by modulating cardiac oxidative stress and inflammatory reaction

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2023
IntroductionThe prevalence of ischemic heart disease has reached pandemic levels worldwide. Early revascularization is currently the most effective therapy for ischemic heart diseases but paradoxically induces myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (MI/R ...

Multiband echo‐shifted echo planar imaging [PDF]

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, 2016
PurposeTo propose the technique multiband echo‐shifted (MESH) echo planar imaging (EPI), which combines the principles of echo‐shifted acquisition for two‐dimensional multislice EPI, with both in‐plane and multiband acceleration by means of partial parallel imaging techniques.MethodsMESH EPI is suitable for functional MRI (fMRI) in situations where ...

Non-linear echo cancellation - a Bayesian approach [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Echo cancellation literature is reviewed, then a Bayesian model is introduced and it is shown how how it can be used to model and fit nonlinear channels. An algorithm for cancellation of echo over a nonlinear channel is developed and tested.
