Doppler Echocardiography and Color Flow Mapping
Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinics of North America, 1991Doppler color flow mapping permits real-time integration of structural and functional information. Flow through fetal and maternal vessels can be examined. Evaluation of fetal cardiac function can be enhanced, and structural abnormalities can be thoroughly studied. Other important applications include improved diagnoses of ectopic pregnancy and ovarian

Contrast color Doppler-echocardiography
1993Despite the general acceptance of color coded Doppler flow imaging the actual display of intracardiac flow is limited as shown from the black areas within the cardiac cavities. Often there is no information on atrial flow and sparse signals about right ventricular inflow to be seen.

Color Doppler and transesophageal echocardiography of vascular sling
Heart and Vessels, 1992Three patients with vascular sling were studied by two-dimensional and color Doppler echocardiography and angiocardiography. One case was associated with atrial septal defect and another with tetralogy of Fallot and patent ductus arteriosus. The third case had no associated intracardiac anomalies.

Transesophageal Echocardiography with Color Doppler During Interventional Catheterization
Echocardiography, 1991Echocardiography has been used during interventional cardiac catheterization for guidance of the procedure and assessment of results. However, limited echocardiographic windows and logistical difficulties make conventional echocardiography during interventional catheterization impractical and of limited value.

Transesophageal Color Doppler Echocardiography During Mechanical Assist Circulation
ASAIO Transactions, 1989Information available to determine the optimal timing for separation of patients (pts) from mechanical assist circulation (MAC) is usually limited, due to the difficulty of transfer of patients with heavy MAC systems. To evaluate the clinical efficacy of transesophageal color Doppler echocardiography (TEE) in management of patients during MAC, we ...

Color Doppler and Fetal Echocardiography
1993Color Doppler flow mapping of fetal heart was performed in 1488 fetuses between 16 and 40 weeks of gestation. Congenital heart diseases were excluded in 1370 fetuses correctly. In 118 fetuses cardiovascular anomalies (without the cases with arrhythmias) were present.

Doppler echocardiography. II. Color Doppler imaging.
The Veterinary clinics of North America. Small animal practice, 1999Color Doppler imaging (CDI) is a sophisticated form of ultrasound technology that overlays blood flow and velocity information onto a B-mode, two-dimensional, gray-scale image. This imaging technique--also called color Doppler echocardiography, color-coded Doppler, Doppler color-flow imaging, and color-flow imaging--is a type of pulsed-wave Doppler ...

Doppler Color Flow Echocardiography
Echocardiography, 1995Doppler color flow imaging has become indispensable in the diagnosis and management of patients with congenital heart disease. Certain defects may not be possible, or may be very difficult to diagnose by two‐dimensional echocardiography alone. Such examples include multiple ventricular septal defects, anomalous pulmonary venous connection, coronary ...

Assessment of Coronary Artery Fistula by Color Doppler Echocardiography
Echocardiography, 1998Two patients with coronary artery fistula (CAF) were studied by color Doppler echocardiography, left coronary artery‐right ventricle fistula in a child and right coronary artery‐left ventricle fistula in an adult. Diagnosis was made by transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and one adult by multiplane transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), respectively.

Automated Cardiac Output Measurement by Transesophageal Color Doppler Echocardiography
Anesthesia & Analgesia, 2004Automated cardiac output measurement (ACOM), which integrates digital color Doppler velocities in space and in time, has been validated using transthoracic echocardiography but has not been tested using transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). Therefore, we determined the feasibility of the ACOM method by TEE in 36 patients undergoing cardiovascular ...
