Recognition of functional pulmonary atresia by color doppler echocardiography
The American Journal of Cardiology, 1999Vigorous crying aids right ventricular ejection into the pulmonary artery. This phenomenon can differentiate functional pulmonary atresia from anatomic pulmonary atresia.

Bi-plane color transesophageal Doppler echocardiography (color TEE): Its advantages and limitations
International Journal of Cardiac Imaging, 1989The bi-plane probe provides superior information at least in cases of aortic aneurysms and mitral regurgitation. With further refinement of true real-time technology, in near future it will be possible to use bi-plane probe in real-time, on-line intraoperatively and immediate postoperative period.

To assess the diagnostic significance of color Doppler and two-dimensional echocardiography and signs in aortic regurgitation (AR), we studied 48 patients with AR confirmed by color Doppler. On color Doppler, an abnormal diastolic flow originating from the aortic valve was visualized in the left ventricular outflow tract in the 48 cases.

[Transthoracic echocardiography--indications for modern color Doppler echocardiography].
Therapeutische Umschau. Revue therapeutique, 1998Transthoracic echocardiography as a pillar of modern cardiology has become the most important cardiac examination following the assessment of patients history and clinical status. By this it is possible to judge clinical problems of the heart and all forms of heart disease appropriately, reproducibly and noninvasive.

[Cardiologic diagnosis using color Doppler echocardiography].
Ultraschall in der Medizin (Stuttgart, Germany : 1980), 1988Colour-coded Doppler echocardiography (Colour Flow Imaging) is a new noninvasive method that offers new perspectives in the cardiographical diagnosis of cardiac defects with regard to diagnostic safety, easily interpreted manner of presentation, and in coping with the complexities of cardiac blood flow.

[Color Doppler echocardiography].
La Revue du praticien, 1991Colour-coded doppler echocardiography uses a pulsed doppler shooting lines scanning system to perform a true real-time doppler angiography of intracradiac flows. Combined with ultrasonic imaging, it has proved irreplaceable for the diagnosis of leakages and for direct visualization of intracradiac shunts; by determining the anatomical location of the ...

The Development of Color Doppler Echocardiography: Innovation and Collaboration
Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography, 2018Conception, development, innovation, introduction, and validation are some of the steps in the introduction of new technologies and their clinical applications. More than 50 years ago, Doppler techniques and applications were introduced into echocardiography.

Temporal enhancement of two-dimensional color doppler echocardiography
SPIE Proceedings, 2016Two-dimensional color Doppler echocardiography is widely used for assessing blood flow inside the heart and blood vessels. Currently, frame acquisition time for this method varies from tens to hundreds of milliseconds, depending on Doppler sector parameters.

[Acromegalic cardiopathy: a morphofunctional study with color-Doppler echocardiography].
Annali italiani di medicina interna : organo ufficiale della Societa italiana di medicina interna, 1992We used color-Doppler echocardiography in an investigation of cardiac morphology and function to verify the cardiac anatomic and functional changes in acromegalic patients with or without hypertension and hyperlipemic states. Fifteen patients with growth hormone-secreting pituitary adenoma (mean age: 47.9 years) and 15 healthy control subjects were ...
