Modelling and analysis of bridging faults in emitter-coupled logic (ECL) circuits

IEE Proceedings E (Computers and Digital Techniques), 1993
With the recent achievement of lower power and higher densities, bipolar ECL technology is expected to be used widely in high performance digital circuits. Recent investigations have revealed that bridging faults can be a major failure mode in ICs. The paper presents a detailed analysis of bridging faults in ECL.

Mechanical performance comparison between RotaFlow and CentriMag centrifugal blood pumps in an adult ECLS model

Perfusion, 2010
Introduction: Centrifugal blood pumps have been widely adopted in conventional adult cardiopulmonary bypass and circulatory assist procedures. Different brands of centrifugal blood pumps incorporate distinct designs which affect pump performance. In this adult extracorporeal life support (ECLS) model, the performances of two brands of centrifugal ...

An analytical model for the determination of the transient response of CML and ECL gates

IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, 1990
In the analysis, the full-range transient response of the gate is calculated using closed-form analytical expressions. This is achieved by generalizing and improving the method used by J.M.C. Stork (IEDM Tech. Dig., p.550, 1988) for the determination of the propagation delay.

Evaluation and Comparison of Hemodynamic Performance of Three ECLS Systems in a Simulated Adult Cardiogenic Shock Model

Artificial Organs, 2018
AbstractThe objective of this study was to evaluate three commercially available ECLS systems with rotary pumps in terms of circuit pressure, pressure drop, perfusion modes, and hemodynamic energy transmission in a simulated adult cardiogenic shock model.

InP/InGaAs DHBTs for high frequency and high speed ECL circuits using a submicron-model

Solid-State Electronics, 1991
High speed performance of InP/InGaAs DHBTs based on a structure with a thin n-type InP layer inserted between the base and collector layers has been investigated using a submicron-model. Compared with a structure without the thin layer, considerable improvements in the current gain frequency (fT) and the transistor forward transit time (τF) have been ...

Computer Aided System Engineering and Analysis (CASE/A) Modeling Package for ECLS Systems-An Overview

SAE Technical Paper Series, 1990
<div class="htmlview paragraph">This paper presents an updated overview of the Computer Aided System Engineering and Analysis (CASE/A)-ECLSS series modeling package. CASE/A is an Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS) and Active Thermal Control System (ATCS) analysis and trade study tool developed primarily for VAX mainframe usage.

Impact of Different Perfusion Modalities on Coronary and Carotid Blood Flow Velocities in an Adult ECLS Swine Model

Artificial Organs, 2018
AbstractThe objective of this study was to compare the effects of nonpulsatile and ECG‐synchronized pulsatile extracorporeal life support on coronary and carotid blood flow velocities using transthoracic echocardiography and vascular ultrasound, respectively. Nine adult swine were randomly separated into nonpulsatile (NP, n = 5) and pulsatile (P, N = 4)

ECL Model: Its Impact in the midst of the COVID-19 Global Crisis

2020
The disruption throughout the globedue to the COVID-19 pandemic hascaused tremendous uncertainty anddifficulty in the financial sector. TheExpected Credit Loss (ECL) model wasintroduced in the aftermath of the 2008global financial crisis to curb theloopholes of the incurred loss model andto provide a forward-looking approach inthe accounting of loan ...
