pH‐Tunable Material Properties of Glycine‐Rich Condensates from Tick Bioadhesive

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work studies the influence of pH on the phase separation behavior of a disordered glycine‐rich protein found in tick bioadhesive. The results show profound impact on the propensity of coacervation, condensate microstructure and viscosity, amphiphilicity of the peptides, and effective encapsulation of therapeutic molecules.

Ultrabroadband Chiral Emission from Cu Nanocluster Eggshell Membrane/CsPbBr3 QD Composites with a Cholesteric Superstructures

This study presents a novel wide‐bandwidth circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) system combining Cu nanoclusters, perovskite quantum dots, and cholesteric liquid crystals. The design achieves strong CPL emission across 480–750 nm (glum up to 1.31 at 514 nm and 1.46 at 620 nm). Using biomaterials and a simple structure, it offers a promising strategy

The eclipsing post-common envelope binary CSS21055: a white dwarf with a probable brown-dwarf companion

We report photometric observations of the eclipsing close binary CSS21055 (SDSS J141126+200911) that strongly suggest that the companion to the carbon-oxygen white dwarf is a brown dwarf with a mass between 0.030 and 0.074 Msun.

Tailoring Microstructure in Copper‐Based Conductive Metal–Organic Frameworks for Enhanced Chemiresistive Sensing and Uptake of Sulfur Dioxide

Precursor‐ and solvent‐mediated synthesis yields four Cu3(HHTP)2 morphologies with distinct physicochemical, sorption, and sensing properties toward SO2. Uptake capacities correlate with BET surface area, while sensing performance scales with particle aspect ratio.
