A deeply eclipsing detached double helium white dwarf binary [PDF]
Using Liverpool Telescope+RISE photometry we identify the 2.78 hour period binary star CSS 41177 as a detached eclipsing double white dwarf binary with a 21,100K primary star and a 10,500K secondary star. This makes CSS 41177 only the second known eclipsing double white dwarf binary after NLTT 11748.

TIC 290061484: A Triply Eclipsing Triple System with the Shortest Known Outer Period of 24.5 Days
We have discovered a triply eclipsing triple-star system, TIC 290061484, with the shortest known outer period, P _out , of only 24.5 days. This “eclipses” the previous record set by λ Tauri at 33.02 days, which held for 68 yr.

EVOLUTIONARY EFFECTS IN CLOSE BINARIES: ANALYSIS OF THE DISTRIBUTION OF ORBITAL ECCENTRICITIES
Dependencies of orbital eccentricity e on orbital periods P in close binary systems (CBS) of different masses and ages, being at the Main Sequence (DMS) and being eclipsing binary stars (EBS), are reviewed.

A New Binary Star System of EW Type in Draco: GSC 03905-01870
Discovery of a new binary star system (GSC 03905-01870 = USNO-B1.0 1431-0327922 = UCAC4 716-059522) in the Draco constellation is presented. It was discovered during a search for previously unreported eclipsing binary stars through the ASAS-SN database ...

Radial velocity and light curves analysis of the eclipsing binary NN Vir
The eclipsing binary NN Vir is a short period system showing an EW-type light curve. Photometric Observations of NN Vir were done by Gomez-Ferrellad & Garcia-Melendo (1997) at Esteve Duran Observatory.

We discuss methods for modeling eclipsing binary stars. There are few realizations of the Wilson- Devinney (1971) code and its improvements, e.g. “Binary Makef’, “Phoebe”. A parameter search using the Monte- Carlo method was realized by Zola et al. (2010)

We report a cyclic variation of the O − C diagram with a semiamplitude of 0.0033 days and a period of 1.05 yr for the pulsating eclipsing binary HZ Dra. The cyclic variation can be explained by the light travel-time effect via the presence of a close-in ...

The massive binary population of the starburst cluster Westerlund 1 [PDF]
We present initial results from a long-baseline radial velocity survey for massive binaries in the cluster Westerlund 1. Four systems are examined: the dust-producing WC binary W239, the double-lined eclipsing binary W13, and the single-lined B0 ...
