Half a Million Binary Stars Identified from the Low-resolution Spectra of LAMOST

The Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series
Binary stars are prevalent yet challenging to detect. We present a novel approach using convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to identify binary stars from low-resolution spectra obtained by the LAMOST survey.

FASLG Derived from Fibroblasts in Hydroxyapatite‐Rich Microenvironment Induces Urothelial Anoikis to Trigger Randall's Plaque Exposure

Randall's plaques (RP) serve as the nidus for calcium oxalate (CaOx) kidney stones. The current study reveals that hydroxyapatite (HAP) crystals activate the THY1–GSK3α/β–β‐catenin axis in renal interstitial fibroblasts (hRIFs), inducing FASLG secretion.

Bioactive dry water powder (BioPOW) encapsulates enzymes in nanoparticle‐coated water microdroplets. These microdroplets are introduced as a free‐flowing solid into organic solvents, where they form bioactive pickering emulsions (BioPEs) only after contact with the organic phase.
