Attractive toxic sugar bait containing ivermectin (ATSB‐IVM) ingestion markedly reduced blood feeding, survival, oviposition, egg production and larval hatching, with the strongest effects when baits were ingested before blood feeding. Timing of ingestion (48–96 h before or after blood feeding) shaped sublethal impacts across the first and second ...

Effect of blood meals and mating on biodemographic characteristics of Aedes albopictus
Lifespan did not differ between virgin and mated males and females. The number of blood meals (one and two) significantly reduced adult lifespan compared with those with no blood meal. The effect of the second blood meal doubled females' egg production and their reproductive output.

Stage‐Specific H3K14 and H3K23 Succinylation Orchestrates Insect Metamorphosis and Oogenesis
Stage‐specific succinylation of histone H3 at lysine 14 and 23 differentially controls insect metamorphosis and oogenesis through distinct GPCR‐PKC signaling cascades, revealing an evolutionarily conserved epigenetic mechanism that coordinates key life‐history traits.

Astrocytes in Genetic Epilepsies: Supporting Actor or Key Player?
Astrocytes contribute to the pathophysiology of acquired epilepsy. However, less is known about their contribution to genetic epilepsy syndromes which often exhibit frequent comorbidity with neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders. Epileptic seizures are also frequently present in neurodevelopmental disorders.
