The ecology of hope: Building rainbows in education systems

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract Hope is frequently invoked in education, yet rarely theorised. Where it has been theorised, it has been understood in two largely separate ways: as an individual psychological capacity, in the positive‐psychology tradition and as a critical‐emancipatory stance, in the pedagogy of hope.

Enhancing the Secretion Systems: Genetic Engineering of Super Bioagents for Effective Plant Disease Control

open access: yesBiotechnology and Bioengineering, EarlyView.
Genetic engineering (GE) overcomes BCA limits, enabling robust, scalable crop protection. “Super Bioagents” (SBs) use optimized SSs to enhance bioactive molecule delivery. Optimizing SSs enhance precise, sustainable effector deployment for stable disease suppression. SBs use microbiome‐informed design for scalable, next‐gen sustainable crop protection.

Reprogramming tumor immune microenvironment by ultrasound‐responsive nanoplatforms for enhanced cancer immunotherapy

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
Ultrasound‐responsive nanoplatforms reprogram the tumor immune microenvironment by targeting tumor cells, immune cells, and non‐immune stromal cells to enhance the efficacy of cancer immunotherapy. Abstract Cancer immunotherapy represents a significant advancement in cancer treatment by enhancing the specific recognition and elimination of cancer cells.

Adaptive Genomic Divergence Across Altitudes in Capsella bursa‐pastoris

open access: yesBiological Diversity, EarlyView.
Genomic divergence was observed between high‐altitude and low‐altitude populations of Capsella bursa‐pastoris in China, consistent with an important role of ecological factors. Candidate adaptive loci associated with enhanced energy metabolism, photoprotection, and growth plasticity under altitudinal stress were identified.
