Ugeskrift for laeger, 2009Knowledge of ecological niches of nosocomial pathogens is used in treatment and prevention of nosocomial infections. This article offers an analysis of the ecological niches of three important nosocomial pathogens: Clostridium difficile, Staphylococcus aureus and Legionella pneumophila.
