Ultrasmall Platinum Nanoparticles for Radiation‐Enhanced Cancer Therapy
Advanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 45, 5 June 2026.This work proposes a nanomedicine‐based strategy to enhance X‐ray radiotherapy for cancer treatment. Ultrasmall Pt‐NPs exhibit catalase‐like activity that may contribute to modulation of the tumor microenvironment and amplify interactions between radiation and biological matter, leading to increased DNA damage.

Self‐Sustained Oscillations in MoS2 Optomechanical Resonators for VHF Optical Radio
Advanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2026.This work demonstrates the use of 2D materials drum resonators to generate and modulate radio‐over‐laser signals. Taking advantage of the self‐sustained oscillations arising in cavity optomechanical systems by a continuous wave visible laser, a radio frequency signal is generated and frequency‐modulated by just changing a DC gate voltage.
