Recent Advances and Challenges in Ammonia‐Hydrogen Energy Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work summarizes the latest progress of various catalytic methods in ammonia‐hydrogen energy conversion. The challenges and outlook of ammonia‐hydrogen energy conversion system are also emphasized. This work expects to build a blueprint of renewable and efficient ammonia‐hydrogen energy conversion systems under mild conditions.

Asset Management in Islamic Inheritance: A Solution for Economic Empowerment Obstacles

open access: yesIslamic Economics Journal
If inheritance assets are transferred, the economic well-being of heirs should increase. However, conflicts among heirs often prevent this, resulting in unproductive or disputed assets with unclear ownership.

An Econometric Analysis of the Operating Profit of Romanian Companies [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper aims to contribute to the empirical literature by employing a panel data model for analysing the connection between operating profit of Romanian companies and the turnover, tangible assets, payrolls, stocks and cash. We find that the companies

Superlattice Architectures for Advancing Photothermal Catalysis: Mechanisms and Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This paper provides a timely overview of superlattice architectures in photothermal catalysis, with a systematic review on mechanisms at both atomic and macroscopic scales in different processes, challenges, and future opportunities. ABSTRACT Photothermal catalysis has emerged as a powerful strategy to complement photocatalysis by harnessing full ...

Right before the end: asset decumulation at the end of life [PDF]

open access: yes
Using data from the Asset and Health Dynamics of the Oldest Old survey, the authors find that the assets of people who die decline much faster than the assets of people who survive, even after controlling for age, sex, and initial asset levels.

High Mobility (>200 cm2 V−1 s−1) Transparent Top Gate IGZO TFTs with Oxidized Metal Gate Insulator for Enhanced Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a top gate Nb capping TFT architecture that induces controlled oxygen out‐diffusion from the IGZO channel. This mechanism generates shallow donor states and enhances electron delocalization, enabling extended percolation pathways. The resulting thin‐film transistors exhibit high mobility, suppressed leakage currents, and strong optical ...

Bank procyclicality, credit crunches, and asymmetric monetary policy effects: a unifying model [PDF]

open access: yes
Much concern has recently been expressed that both large, procyclical changes in bank assets and "credit crunches" caused by bank reluctance to expand loans during recessions contribute to economic instability.

Upscaling Sodium‐Ion Battery Cells: From Aqueous Processing to Performance Assessment of Hard Carbon|Prussian White Pouch Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This study investigates the feasibility of scaling up Prussian White (PW)‐based cathode manufacturing at a pilot scale. Through careful PW dehydration combined with optimized aqueous processing, we report the stepwise development of industrially relevant 1 Ah pouch cells and evaluate their performance under various conditions.

Is the Stock Market Overvalued? [PDF]

open access: yes
The value of U.S. corporate equities in the first half of 2000 was close to 1.8 times U.S. gross national income. Some stock market analysts have argued that the market is overvalued at this level. We use standard economic theory and find that the market

Uncovering the Role of Intrinsic Magnetic Order in Oxygen Evolution Reaction Activity With Operando Spectroscopy

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Operando magnetic spectroscopy provides insight into how intrinsic magnetic order modulates the oxygen evolution reaction on La0.67Sr${\rm La}_{0.67}{\rm Sr}$0.33MnO$_{0.33}{\rm MnO}$3$_3$ thin films. Temperature‐dependent operando FMR and ambient‐pressure XMCD suggest a correlation between activity and the emergence of ferromagnetic regions near and ...
