Electrodeposited Piezoelectric Chitosan Films: A New Approach Toward a Scalable and Standardized Fabrication of Sensors

Electrodeposition is explored as an innovative and scalable approach to fabricate standardized and highly piezoelectric chitosan films. Chitosan deposition is driven onto gold‐coated silicon plates by an applied voltage. Films’ piezoelectricity is clearly proved and correlated to the material structural order.
