Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.Ceramic nanomultilayers demonstrate optical and mechanical behavior tunability through aperiodicity. Within the studied systems, optically optimized coatings exhibit an average ultraviolet, visible, and near‐infrared spectral transmittance above 90%.
