An analysis of economic impact on IoT under GDPR
2017 International Conference on Information and Communication Technology Convergence (ICTC), 2017The EU's GDPR is expected to come into force on May 25, 2018. By this regulation, it will be possible to enforce even stronger legislation than the existing Directive. In particular, GDPR is expected to have a major impact on IoT industry, which uses diverse and vast amounts of personal information.

Economic impact analysis of load forecasting
IEEE Transactions on Power Systems, 1997This paper examines the economic impact of inaccurate load forecasts. Monte Carlo simulations are used to study the effect of different load forecasting accuracy. Investigations into the effect of improving the daily peak load forecasts, effect of different seasons of the year and effect of utilization factors are also presented.
